Happy holidays to everyone. I hope everyone has taken the time to go out and get me something special for Christmas.  I’m almost done, but I need one more gift for each loved one.

Unfortunately for y’all I’m playing the grinch here.

Well, all good things must come to an end. This is it fans, this is my final blog. I have shared so many great stories and adventures with you. I have revealed personal information and memories about me that I thought I would never be comfortable sharing. But the feedback and the comments that y’all left me really touched my heart.

A few years ago, I received a text from a friend that I’ve been wanting to mount for years. To keep the confidentiality of this hot momma we shall call her “Deborah L” from now on. In the text, she mentioned to me that Janis was looking for a new blogger.  I was a little worried about this whole blog thing. I hadn’t written anything since I did a baker’s essay for Mr. Murphy back in 1990.

Janis was looking for a funny really handsome guy to write about fatherhood. She asked me if I knew anyone…. I said what about me???? Janis goes, “no Michael he needs to be good-looking”. She relented and gave me a shot. I have enjoyed every minute of it ever since.

I have enjoyed reading my fellow bloggers’ stories, especially Shae. Her stories are so well said, you feel her life on the screen, she is so much better than me…. Keep it up Shae, you little punk.

A few weeks ago another tamale blogger, JB, asked each of us what was our favorite blog. Mine was simple, “living with something you didn’t ask for”. It was my third blog on “The Feels”. It was about all the health issues that I have gone through. It wasn’t something I discussed with everyone, but this site helped me share it out to everyone.

One of my favorite things to do was to input my friends into my blogs. From mentioning how I appreciate “Liz K”, to discussing the gas problems of my friend “Monica”. It was all true and amazing to incorporate.

Janis… thank you for letting me join the team. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
To my faithful readers…. I will probably continue on “The Feels” down the road, but like dropping a Viagra, you need to wait a little before it kicks in.

Have a wonderful holiday season. I turn Fifty in March. That’s my next topic…

Mortgage banker, but not by choice. In my free time, I enjoy golf, reading (especially presidential biographies), and finding that hole-in-the-wall restaurant that has great food.
